What shall i upgrade now.

Hi guys, im looking for a new motherboard but dont know which one to pick. Here are my specs currently.

Antec 1200 case
700 watt coolermaster M700 Psu
Nvidia 295 GTX Gpu
E8400 Wolfdale dual cpu overclocked at 3.9ghz
Arctic cooling freezer extreme cooler
8gig ddr2 1066 ram
Asus P5Q motherboard ( 1 Gpu slot only ) obviously still runs sli from that single slot but this is why i want to upgrade.
What would you guys upgrade if you had this system? i play game on the highest settings, always max things out at 1920 x 1080 on my viewsonic 23inch full hd monitor. Which motherboard would be recommended? or shall i just change the graphics card or ram? I run vista 64 bit and windows 7 64 bit if that helps. Any advice would be great thanks.

Looks like a really nice system there! :)

I wouldn't buy another LGA775 motherboard so you only really got two obvious choices . . .

  • Sell Up your older kit and Upgrade to Core i5/i7
  • Sell Up your older kit and move sideways to AMD and pocket a chunk of money

Apart from that be happy with what you got and if the money if burning a hole in your pocket maybe find another hobby! :cool:
 
So you guys think i should sell my motherboard, cpu and memory and then upgrade. how much do you all think i could get for those parts, would have to sell the cooler too i guess!
