What short of temp should an E6600 run at ?

Using a stock HSF and under full load ?

depends on ambient temperatures. case airflow. fan settings. how much it's overclocked (if at all).

It's at stock and room temp is erm ... room temp. just looking for ball park temps.

Ok got it all setup now with a stock HSF and some AS3.

Using Core Temp.

Idle. 43 42
100% Load. 54 52

Wow load temp has come down a lot. 43 for core0 , 41 for core1.

the stock cooler isnt the best bit of kit but as your running at standard speeds id say its pretty much as expected.

For reference my E6600 @ 3ghz on a Freezer 7 Pro idles about 35-40 jumping to high 60's on load.

That Scythe Fan runs my mates at about 35c unload and 40-45c load gaming
