What is more likely to be accurate?

Real Temp or Asus PC Probe II which comes with the mobo and I assume gets it's info from the bios.

I would tend to look at Real Temp & Core Temp.
HW Monitor for other temps.

Realtemp and coretemp

Don't know how other programs do it, sure they pluck a figure out of the air, but they (coretemp and realtemp) read it from the distance to TJ-Max

But asus probe gives me so much lower readings. I like them better

Definately look at coretemp and realtemp though, they will be the most accurate

I have pc probe only showing my vcore, overal cpu temp, mb temp and cpu fan speed, which show the same as HWMonitor. So its nice for a quick glance now and then as i have it in the top right of my screen

I also run real temp minimized for core temps only in the sys tray.
