What should i do..console or upgrade?

Case - Zalman z9 plus
Board - Gigabyte p77a-ud4
CPU - I7-2600 4.2 GHZ with venom CPU cooler
Graphics - H.I.S ATI Radeon HD 6970
Memory - G.Skill Ripjawx 8GB (2x4gb) 1600
Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB
PSU - Coolmaster Silent Pro 700W

i'm thinking next summer do i get a next gen console or do some upgrades. What is better price wise.

Wait until next summer then decide.

All you should need to upgrade is the GPU as the rest of you stuff looks ok. The new 20nm GPU should have been released by then.

ideally a new card would be awesome

but i think my memory is running pretty low and needs upgrading but i don't think the mobo runs that high?

Next summer is many many months away, prices/everything will have changed. Next Gen consoles may seem more appealing come around then that you might not feel now.
