A few months back i sent back my 4870x2 for repair. they sent me back a brand new 4870 ... i contacted them and they said that they would send me a 5850 insted (which still sucked but as i allreayd bought a 5870 i decided to sell the 5850 on and make a bit of money :D.

When i asked what i should do with the 4870.. they said "keep it for now and when you get the card back send it when ya can" ...they gave me an RMA n umber to stick on the front of it when i sent it back... welllll its been 3 weeks since i recived the 5850 and sold it.. and i completly forgot about the 4870... i havnt heard from sapphire about the 4870.. Should i bother sending it back...? lol will they ever know.... *grin* Could just say i sent it j2 days after i recived my 5850?... lol

Although maybe id get bad karmer and my 5870 would pack up lol what do ya think?

be nice and send back the 4870... (which they didnt seem botherd about)

or

be a **** (and go to hell when i die) and keep it and sell it on:P

I would keep it, the amount of people Sapphire have screwed over due to their lame Customer Service I don't see why you shouldn't keep that and make a profit if you want. I'd recommend selling the 5870, 5850 and 4870 maybe you might be able to get enough for a 5970, I'm not sure though.

They gave you a 4870 as a RMA replacement for a 4870x2 ?
I'd check any info you were provided aas they may state they will charge for the card if not received
