Ok I have £230 to upgrade my PC it currently has :
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition ( Stock Fan )
12gb Kingstone HyperX 1600MHz
ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048mb
750W Power Supply

I Use it for gaming just wondering what I should upgrade :D Merry Christmas
 
upgrade the cpu cooling so you can up the clocks ? ;) just a throught, err what case do you have?

wait a couple of weeks for the new graphics cards come out, should hopfully push the price of the 6950s down a bit. if/when that happens get a 2nd 6950 and go xfire if your motherboard can handle it.


or get a ssd. also a 3rd party cpu cooler and oc the cpu.

Well i dunno what you use your PC for, but I m guessing your CPU is running at its factroy clocks going by the stock fan, if so a different cooler( better one) would be needed to give it some more clocks.

your case is quite decent for air flow.

you could give your card a little tweek, I belive thats the one that can be unlock, or add another one and do it, but I dunno what you game at etc.

SSD is a option, could get a 60Gb corsiar for like £70

read and wirte is very high, dunno if it has that sandforce bug or not.

Yeah, a good CPU cooler (Antec Kuhler H2O, something like that, my 1055T overclocked well with a H50). Then maybe a SSD, but the rest looks OK. Dunno why you have 12GB of RAM though. 3 x 4GB? You should really have four sticks or two sticks.
