What should i get for christmas?

as in title, i want a realy good pc game for christmas, heres what i have already/like, what do you think i should get?

got
guild wars - ace game, not got factions, dont want it.
splinter cell - boring after a bit
call of duty2 - ive played over 1000 hours of it. the only fps multiplayer i can play a lot on.
half life 2 - completed it, was great game.
fear multiplayer - pretty cool, not hooked on it like cod2.

thinking about

gw nightfall
battlefield 2142
F.E.A.R

dont want

WoW or any pay monthly game.
any splinter cell games.
half life expansion packs.

any ideas on what games would be a great buy or comments on nightfall?

i like rpg's and fps's

Dawn of War and expansions are excellent, got into them recently. Nightfall as you say should add some good content. My best pc game buy of the year has been CS:S (though cod2 is the only fps you can play?) maybe worth a play. Neverwinter Nights 2 comes out next week. Battlefield 2142?

if you're a bit of a fan of Battlefield in anyway or wana get into it..

2142.

Occupy you for a good while. It's substantial, lot better than BF2.

If you got gw and want a expansion get the nightfall,

NWN 2 or both Lego Star Wars games if you want something a bit different. Can't recommend any of your original wanted games since I don't think F.E.A.R and BF2 are that good and I've never played Guild Wars.

I suggest something like Quake 4. That storyline is pretty good and great game play too

FEAR is certainly a Love / Hate game, I suggest taz488 play the demos for said games though before he goes out and gets dissapointed. I certainly preferred Quake 4 over FEAR.

fear multiplayer is okay but nothing spectacular. never played a quake game in my life ill have a look but i think it will be nightfall and 2142. =P
