What should i get ?

Im buying a new card tomorrow and want some advice.

My price limit is £180 (ish)

My spec is below and a 500w psu

I would prefer a AMD card

any ideas??

10 more pounds and you can get XFX 290 on sale right one....which is 199; which gold games......

can sell that for 25-50 pounds....... 500w pus should be find for it....

xfx 290 says a 600w psu though mines only 500 and i dont wanna get a new one yet

if its cutting it close there is also the 280x starting at £185 but for the sake of £14 it would be a shame not to take the 290

Petey's power meter in the Sleeping dogs test of doom says 400-430W with a 290 at stock clocks with a 2600k @4.8Ghz and a whole bunch of other stuff/cards in the system fwiw.

darn just checked and my case is a zalman z11 plus and i only have 290mm to play with..this card is 295mm (

Depends what 500w PSU, if its even a half decent one will do a 290 with ease.
