What should I go for?

I'm looking for a new graphics card for a budget of roughly £300-£350 (for my new rig). However I'm not too sure which card I should get. 6970/570 appeal to me, and I should be able to cfx/sli them after a few months (Or sell them if a new series with significant performance increase comes out by then). However would I be better off going for two 5870's or 6870's? Or prehaps I should go for a 6950 so I will be able to save up for another one sooner than I would a 6970 or 570? That's if the performance increase of the 6970/570's isn't worth the extra money. I know I'll be impressed by any of the cards as I'm using a 4870 right now And if it helps, I play at 1920x1080. I've been thinking about this stuff for a while now and I can't make up my own mind, so I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some experienced advice.

TBH although I have just ordered the 6970 (I play at same res as you)

I think the 6950 is the best option especially if you plan to xfire later

xfire 6950s are awesome and have 2gb not 1.3 so I would go for that.

Yeah that does seem like a good option for me, especially considering the thread about possibly being able to unlock the 6950. But for that I suppose I'd need to wait and see for some results.

To be honest mate i reckon you would be fine with just a single card at your resolution. 6970/Unlocked 6950 should be fine and then sell it on when you need to?
