What should I play

I've been out of gaming scene for.. 15 years..

I have my gaming rig on order, and I'm looking for some game suggestions.

Probably worth me listing some of games I used to play:

Half-life
Quake 2/3
Enemy Territory
WOW
CS
C&C/Red Alert
Warcraft 3

I do like a good strategy game, Total War.. but also enjoy FPS/competitive gaming, used to love ET (which I think is still available on Steam?). Used to play WoW when it was first released but not sure I want to go down that road again.

Seen loads about Fortnight, but not sure its for me, perhaps something more serious?
