Ok, I need to buy a new monitor in the next two weeks, as I am finally leaving my trusty but enormous CRT behind. I made a couple of threads re. some fairly low end TN screens which I wanted to use as a stop-gap until I could get something a bit more up-market.
Unexpectedly I've ended up with a bit more cash and I'm now wondering if I can skip the stop-gap monitor and go straight for something nicer.
It would be for video & photo editing, watching movies and also playing games. I was thinking 22" would be fine.
How much should I spend on my first decent quality monitor?
Any suggestions?
