What should I upgrade on my PC?

Specs are as follows,

Q6600 G0 @ 3 GHz
8800GTX
4GB DDR2 PC5300
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R
Corsair HX520

22" TFT 1680x1050

I was thinking of getting a new graphics card to help with future games etc, but I can't see any games I won't be able to play fine on my current one except GT4. But I was wondering if my CPU is still considered any good?

Personally I think your CPU is fine, its your GPU which is probably the weakest link in that chain. If you up your GFX though, you might also need to look at a new PSU.

It all looks fine for now, youre prob best holding off, save up for a year then buy a new i7 system, what youve got should do you for next year easily

Shouldnt do, but it might be close, if PSU is quite new you shouldnt have any problems (there efficiency degrades over time)

Unles you have money to spend. I'd hold off till you can upgrade for a full system.
Specs look more than capable for now.

280gtx now they are sub £200!

you will undoubtedly need a better gfx card to play the new total war on max settings as those 20,000 people battles get very intense!

The CPU is fine, most progs don't even utilise 4 cores yet
