I live stream a lot, playing games. I want to extend the reach of games I can stream with comfortable FPS and not sure on what I should upgrade next...

AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE 3.40GHz
Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P
8GB GeIL Black Dragon RAM
CiT 550W PSU.
GeForce GTX 460 1GB Palit Sonic Edition
Coolermaster 430 Elite Case

My budget isn't too much as I'm 16. Not comfortable spending over 250 or so, idk

Thanks! :-)

I'd be looking at overclocking your CPU. Its still pretty capable and you wont see a massive improvement by going to an i5 or i3 with regards to gaming. I'd overclock your processor to around 4GHz and replace your power supply. Save up for a little longer and replace your graphics card later.

What cooler should I get?

I would go for something like the Thermalright True Spirit. Well priced and performs decently. Your case can accomodate coolers with a height of upto 163mm according to legitreviews so the above cooler will be fine. Also states it fits AM3 so no need for any other fittings and you most probably can use it again with a new setup later as it's compatible with almost all the new socket types.

Ok mate sweet. I think I'll go for the cooler master 212, the reviews say its amazing for the price. Only problem is I have an arctic cooler 7 and wondering if it's going to be much of an upgrade

i got the fx-8150 8 core cpu and its such a good cpu for the money and on benchmarks my setup is not much away from i7 tests

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Cards w/ FARCRY3 & Sleeping Dogs PC Games £149.99
1 x Seasonic S12II 520W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £54.98
1 x Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £26.99
Total : £243.36 (includes shipping : £9.50).

As said previously, overclock the cpu to get better performance. My hyper 212 keeps my 965 @3.7 at around 45 degrees at load. That's with high voltage aswell. It's a more than capable cooler.

I appreciate the help, do I really need to spend another 56 quid and lose 30W?

Yes, 30W isn't much of a big difference, Seasonic make great quality PSU's and I have never been failed by them, worth the 56 quid mate definitely..

I've never heard of CiT in my life! It's better to get a Seasonic or Corsair PSU probably a lot more reliable than CiT junk!
