What should I upgrade?

Hi all,

I self built my PC around 5 years ago and it's starting to show it's age. I'm looking to upgrade certain components if it's worthwhile - I'd rather avoid starting again if I can help it.

The primary motivator for the upgrade is the fact that I've started playing CS:GO again after a few years away, and I can't reliably get a decent framerate unless I seriously reduce the video settings. But I don't really know if my motherboard can support a decent graphics card, or whether my CPU is the bottleneck.

Here's what I bought 5 years ago:

1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £179.99
1 x MSI HD 7850 OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Cards £149.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £89.99
1 x BeQuiet Pure Power L8 530W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply - With 120mm Silent Wing Fan Built in £66.95
1 x GeIL EVO Leggera 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GEL38GB1600C9DC) £35.99

I also have installed an SSD. Can anyone please advise?

Thanks for the replies.

I'd like to get over 100 fps during firefights, ideally. When there's 3-4 people on screen it gets a bit laggy (down to around 40-50fps). I'm playing at 1024x768 with everything turned down to low at the moment, which just about makes it playable. I'd like to be able to play the game at higher

My processor is not overclocked.

If a new cooler and GPU are the things I should be looking at upgrading, does anyone please have any recommendations?
