  • Hi there,
I just spent a lot of money on the below. It runs wells, but I was a bit surprised by my low FPS in CS:GO which was averaging around 102 FPS?
I dont think I was running it in 4k or anything, but it would be good to hear peoples thoughts on this? And if there are any guides to know how I should be running games on which settings?

  • Monitor: Alienware aw3423dwf
  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X Twelve Core 5.60GHz
  • Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ Vapor-X 24GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
  • Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard
  • Kingston FURY Beast EXPO RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C36 6000MHz
  • WD Black SN850X 2TB SSD M.2 2280
  • Phanteks Glacier One 280MP All In One CPU Water Cooler
  • MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 UK PSU 1000W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply

Have you tried any other games? CSGO should be getting 300+ fps with that set up.
I dropped down the graphics quality a bit and was getting 260FPS.

Also tried Cyberpunk and was getting 60Fps with everything on max. Will need to double check all of this.

Is my monitor a factor?

102fps... honestly doesn't mean much.... We really need to know about the settings in game etc more than just the fps you're seeing.

Monitor resolution will play a part too, higher resolution 'generally' means lower fps at the same settings
