Hi Guys,

Will be my birthday September 4th. My other half is buying me a Dell U3415W as I have been wanting one for ages and she finally gave in.

I have also saved a bit of money up for a new build but I am unsure how to proceed.

My current Rig is as so

AMD Phenom II x6 1090t Black Edition
ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 Motherboard
4gb 1333mhz DDR3 Corsair Vengance RAM x2
ASUS GTX 560ti Direct CU II
Corsair CX450 PSU
120gb Vertex 4 SSD

I have around £600 to upgrade the rig ready for the new display and I was wondering whether I should go for.

Intel Skylake i5 6600k
Corasir H80i GT
Asus ROG Gene VIII
Kingston Fury 8GB DDR4 2666mhz x 2
EVGA 650W G2 PSU
Total: £580

This build will involve me to use the onboard GPU until I can get myself a 980ti

Or should I buy a 980ti and EVGA 650w PSU together now total around £620 and then upgrade the motherboard/Ram/CPU at a later date.

Will my current setup be able to run a 980ti?

That looks good, I would definitely go with mobo/cpu etc first then GPU.

I had a 1090t prior to this and it was a great chip but even struggled with a 7970.
