Im confused here...

I know nothing about Apple software (apart from iTunes), especially their OS (apart from the fact i prefer Windows right now ;))...Anyway i have in my possession a Macbook Pro which im trying to get all the specs for. The only bit im stumbling on right now is the size of the hard disk.

Having plugged the hard disk model into google it says its an 80gb, however if u look at the second part of the attached image it shows perhaps another partition or disk?..therefore totalling ~120gb. Im more inclined in going with the fact its an 80GB disk by the Fujitsu serial number though.

What do you think? 80GB right?

Thanks

Looks to me that it's 80GB with a 45GB partition called 'Macintosh HD' - if this is the only partition, you have 35GB-ish of unpartitioned space.

The capacity is the total size of the disk, the volumes bit at the bottom lists how that space is broken down.

That's a 80GB drive, with a 45GB partition.

Don't add the volume size with the total disk size.
