i was hoping it would be a bit shorter i thought i had read somewhere that it was smaller ? it would be hard to fit into my sons case , i may have to do a little adjusting

'Tis what I've read. Also this picture of it (with cooling removed though, for some reason) it looks a similar size to my X1950 XT;

You may just be better off looking up the dimensions of the x1950's

Yeah its the same length as the x1800/x1900/x1950's, i put it next to my old x1800 and it was exactly the same length, just measured the x1800 and its bang on 9".

Erm I thought the X1950 was a bit longer than the 8800 GTS.....

By the way, 9" is more than 18 CMs. It is more like 24 - 25 CMs
