What size monitor

I am about to put together a budget gaming rig and am looking for a monitor for it.

Just wondered if anyone had any specific recomendations. Want to spend in the region of £100.

Will i notice a huge difference between a 17" and a 19"? Obviously there is a size difference but will it greatly improve the gaming experience?

I went from a 17" Monitor to a 19" TFT its a matter of opinion but I found it to be a nice upgrade. I have just today upgraded from my 19" TFT to a 24" TFT & vertically its only 1" more but with widescreens it works out the same diagnally i.e 24"

Like mentioned in the previous post get the biggest you can afford really.

If your just going to use the PC for games & office use look for a cheaper TN panel type, they are restricted with viewing angles so not much point if your going to be watching films from an angle for instance.

My 19" TFT I'm going to sell uses an MVA panel which has good viewing angles.
