What size paging file for Windows Server 2008?

What size paging file for Windows Server 2008?

In the fast I would do double the amount of memory for minimum and maximum but when you have 32Gig of ram it uses far to much disk space.

Should I let windows manage it?

Leave it as system managed.

There's a fascinating* article on technet that discusses this very question; http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889654. I always used to set it to 1.5 times the amount of physical RAM, but no longer recall the reasoning behind it.

And given Vista/2008 7/2008 R2's vastly different RAM utilization when compared to 2003/XP, that article is pretty useless in this context.
