I'm looking to start putting together my first watercooling setup and I'm in the process of reading everything I possibly can before I start to buy. Im struggling to find any sort of info as to what size rad I might need to cool my system.

I'm going to be looking to cool my q6600 and my 4850x2 in the same loop. I've just bought an antec 1200 to house everything in and I plan on getting a decent pump, probably a D5.

I want to future proof for whn I upgrade to i7 (or whatever is about when I do).

Is there a general rule of thumb for choosing which size rad?

Basicly if doing GPU and Cpu, one of the thicker 360's are probably the best bet, or if u can't mount a 360, then maybe 240 and a 120.

But ur best going for the 55-60mm thick rads.

OK, as this is my first dabble into watercooling would you recommend just cooling the CPU? Is it much more complicated if I need to start adding multiple rads?

I reckon I might be able to fit a 360 in the case but it would leave little room for much else.
