What size screen do you like to game at?

27" 1440P is fantastic for gaming, although if you're fine with 24" 1080P chances are you'll be fine with 32" 1440P as they're the same PPI.

33-34" ultrawides are the best for immersive gaming shy of a VR headset imo.

If you're sat on your couch instead of at a desk I'd say it depends on the size of your room, space allowing get the largest OLED you can afford.

27" 1440p is the sweet spot for a desktop monitor for gaming, in both pixel density and prece/performance wise.

Yep, I used to think 24" 1080p was perfect, but you're totally right. It does come at the cost of either FPS or money for a GPU upgrade, but it's worth it. On the other hand, I've found you don't notice aliasing as much, therefore you can get away with lower AA.

I personally think 32" is way too big for desk distance mouse and keyboard gaming.

It depends on your desk setup really, although it absolutely is personal preference. I know people who 'desk-game' on 42-50" TV's that hate using anything smaller, way too big for me personally though.

My GTX1080 can drive 1440p pretty well, an so can my 1660 Super at medium settings at reasonable frame rates, so not too bad of hit, certainly not compared to 4k.

I also game on my TV in the living room, which is 65" 4k120hz and I find that ideal for casual gaming.

34" Curved Ultra-Wide (curved is very important at that size)

27" is way too small and good for office work imo once you use a curved ultra wide 30+" at least 1440p 100+Hz you can never go back.

Just went to 144hz 3440x1440 last year and couldnt imagine playing on anything less anymore. To be honest its a constant struggle right now not to upgrade to the 38" LG ultrawide. If I see it go on a decent sale i'm probably screwed.

27-28" 1440p is sweet spot for me - at least 120Hz though I'm not too fussy above that - but it does have to be at least 120.

I also have a side setup with a 4K display that I use for any games where I use a controller, wheel or flight stick, etc. (mostly racing games at the moment) but for keyboard and mouse it has to be 1440p.

I've played at 27" 1440p for about 6 years, not long ago realised i could raise the refresh to 75hz by adding a profile:(.

Having managed to bag a 30 series card I've taken the moment to get a new monitor.
Still 27" but now at 4k and 144hz.
I'll soon know which one i like best i guess:D

It might just be a case of crashing/ dying, in game, in prettier colours :D
