Just tidying up my system a bit and looking at getting some black screws to replace the silver ones used throughout the case but wondering what sizes I need to get.

Disk drives and such, somthing like M3 x 10mm or M3 x 5mm? Are the screws that hold the PCI covers the same size too?

And then for rads, Cant figure if they use M3 or M4 sized screws, but 30mm long should fine for going through fan to the rad right?

Dont know if it makes any difference, but Im using a Lian Li PC-A07 case, a TFC rad and an XSPX rad.

Cheers for any info :)

Nice one! would never of thought of looking on wikipedia haha. Thought thats what size they were but just wanted to confirm before buying any :)

TFC radiators use M3 (very sure of this), others may well be M4. I thought thermochill used self tapping screws, so perhaps xpsc do as well

Hard drive screws tend to be 4 or 6mm long, if you source 10mm or 1/2" 6-32 screws in the UK I'd like to know where from as it'll open up a wider range of isolation techniques.

I wish the entire box was metric :(

Yea, found loads of M3 and M4 screws like I want but struggling with the 6-32. Lian Li thumb screws are M3 arent they? Got some spare so can just test those in the rad lol

No idea about lian li screws, sounds possible. 6-32 annoys me, I'm sure they're common as muck stateside but I'm not up for importing 20 screws. Could always cut some myself, but imperial taps and dies are almost as hard to find and cost more than importing. Frustrating

I've got some 6-32 black screws, power supplies seem to come with them. That suggests it should be possible to find them, but so far I've only located black thumb screws and they're too short for me anyway

I will see if I can source some. I have ways of finding things ;)

Let me know what sizes and lengths you want and I can see what I can do.

Ordered some now but thanks for the offer :)

Seems that Lian Li cases (or at least the PC7) use M3 threads for everything! Which is quite handy. And yes, the TFC rad uses M3 but the XSPC one uses M4. Ordered quite a lot of screws just to make sure I had enough :p
