What software do you use?

I know this has been done in the past but I want to see an up to date list of what people use for different functions. Ill break it up in to a few basic functions and then have a misc function. If you use windows default features or webapps for a function then state that. Ill start by posting my list, this is not conclusive list of all the software i use, I left out things like vmware workstation and a few others but these I would consider as core applications. Post as much as you want but im interested to see what you use for the specific functions.

windows media center (i used to use mpc-be but since i got a tuner/remote for watching tv, i installed the shark codecs so i can watch all my other files through WMC)

notepad++ (get used a lot for my noob attempts at javascript)
