What software for self assessment and link to HMRC portal?

I have decided to do this myself from now on. I already have had a business account in place for several years and all my payments goes into that. I keep all my receipts and order any thing work (photography) related online with credit card so have all the invoices.

What softward do I need to track it all?

I have put all the numbers for the tax year into a spreadsheet...but would like to use a piece of software if there is a good one, preferably free but don't mind paying for a little if it's good.

If its just SA can you not just manually do it via the online portal... I usually do it for a couple of my drivers and it takes about 15 mins.

The self assessment website isn't the most horrific tax portal I've used, but it's definitely not the best either. Shouldn't be too big a deal to do it yourself though, not rocket science, and HMRC are quite helpful if you just ring them.
