ive made ac ouple other posts about this be it the gpu psu or other peripherials but it turns out to be completley random. i thought drivers downloaded new drivers, reseated gpu , updated runtime and direct x ran occt stress test , everything good except power test whgich crashes the system. strangely though at times i can run games and it doesnt happen then other times the screen will go black everytime i load a game. i have run a fps benchmark and it runs fine for doesnt go dark. no idea if it was the psu wouyld i not expect more symptoms and gpu testing appears to fine, device manager says all components are working properly
seems totally random maybe the display port cable ....

Check your system logs!

But it's also always worth checking your RAM.

I did a rebuild/upgrade in the summer and got random freezes, reboots and black screens which came up as a driver issue in the logs.

Went through loads of troubleshooting on the drivers, the GPU, the monitors, even going so far as to try a different OS build but nothing fixed it.

Then I tested the RAM (single stick at a time, swapping slots, etc) and found that one of them was 100% faulty.

:)

You on a gpu with a 12vhpwr connector?
You said it fails a power test, what is that testing? Gpu and cpu or something else?
Can you test either the gpu or psu seperatly, or swap in another one?

Full pc spec?
What else have you tried already, you mention other threads, why is this a new one and not continuing one of those?
