What software to check how much Ink is left?

I have a fairly old HP Deskject 895 Cxi, and I was wondering if there was any software about that tells me how much ink I have left in the cartridges?

I know newer printers come with this function but I'm not sure on the older ones?

On our really old Lexmark Printer, when we ever Printed anything it would pop up with a box, this would display how much Printing has been done in % and it would also show us the Ink levels.
This Printer was like 8 years ago, have you just got your Printer?

If there is a software utility to monitor ink levels, it would have come with the printer. The HP website should have driver/utility downloads for all their products.

Hmm...the printer is very old about 9 years now, and the software section on HP's website doesn't have anything apart from a photo manipulation tool which is just god awful btw.

I don't think there is anything out there. But I'm still going to wait for them to run out naturally, rather than buy a new printer. I need a new monitor first lol
