What software/tools do you use to maintain the system?

What sort of software/tools do you use not including anti-virus to keep system running smoothly. The other question is what sort of software/tools do you use to get rid of malicious malware and any kind of viruses?

I personally use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO and if I can't delete a virus with this then I usually just do a google search and use what ever is recommended to get rid of that infection.

System: Windows 7

I would agree if we were talking about Linux, but windows I have to disagree as I've only just moved to windows 7 from Windows 8.1 Pro. Because it was terriable and got unstable after 3 weeks... where my previous install of windows 7 Ultimate lasted me 2 years. :rolleyes:

Some of the tools listed I remember using but I just forgot the name.

P.s. What do you people use specifically to scan the PC for viruses? I've Malwarebytes Premium and so far this Anti Virus seems IMO the best. :cool:
