I was in C world today as I needed to check out some fridge freezers and being the computer interested person I am I of course looked at what they and nearly walked out with a Lenvo c260 all in one White model the one with quad core pentium and 1tb, it was on sale at 299.99, while it's not touch screen and all in one so limited I thought it was really nice and windows 8.1 seemed better than on my missus laptop..

I figured I would replace my recently acquired windows 7 laptop I just spent £48 on to get to my satisfaction lol with either the computer above or a decent new laptop that is better than the laptop I have now as I've come in to a little more money.

Then I thought what sort of gaming PC that is pretty tiny that I could buy/build instead within the budget, not really too bothered about games properly yet, but figured if it can be decent at gaming it shouldn't have problems playing 1080p.

Any suggestions???

I don't particularly want an APU again unless it's a really good one and the case doesn't have expansion slots as I wanted it to be tucked away. Only things I won't need are os(reuse 32bit 7 home), monitor or anything else, just need a big drive..

Thanks for that, looks nice, over budget a bit and unfortunately my budget decreased too due to upgrading the laptop and car trouble crap, but defiantly something to look at, suppose 300 will always be a tough call ha..

Right just a quick one, due to money limits would I be wasting £120 on a custom gaming of old that consist of a q6600, 4gb ddr2(id have thought), 1tb hdd, 1gb gfx of whatever, 650w(I think) enermax psu, couple opticals enclosed in some fairly nice big atx Antec case???

Put my 6670 back to use as its stored away, just really tempted as its old but better than anything I've had or built.. All I really need to tie me over is atx psu and either a atx or micro atx board setup up and make do with my crappy atx case I got and my Radeon plus hdds..

Edit: if I can get extra 40 on top of the 120 I'm willing to spend then I could buy the mobo, cpu, psu you mentioned but save on the ram and go 4gb till I can get a 64bit os.
