what genre is this? i presume its some sort of hardcore trance or something? can someone recommend any other similar stuff? its the sort of music you want played very loud when you're drunk

That's happy hardcore/euro dance/cheesy trance; the lowest of the low in terms of electronic music. I'd hazard a guess at the artist being scooter from your clip and if you want more like that check out the 'clubland' and 'clubland x-treme' compilation series.
