what sound card?

hello all,

im looking for a new sound card im currently using onboard sound and tbh it's pants. iv been looknig at

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty 7.1 Champion Series Soundcard or

Razer Barracuda AC-1 Gaming 7.1

what would you recommend? im running xp, using medusa 5.1 headphones, playing mainly bf2

any advice will be greatly appreciated! cheers

BF2 was one of the selling points originally for the X-Fi cards due to the performance gained by the dedicated audio CPU. My personal choice would be the Fatal1ty, and I also have the Medusa 5.1 headphones, which are the mutts nuts btw.
