What speakers?

Firstly I have absolutly no idea about speaker. I'm looking for some decent quality speakers for my laptop and have about £50 to spend, is this possible?
The only other requirement is that they aren't surround sound one's because I don't need them so I only want a set of 2 speakers and maybe a sub? So any ideas?

If you want just two and no sub the the Creative Labs Gigaworks T20 can be had for £45.

You won't get better without a sub under £100.
