Now, I'm a little confused here, looking for a bit of advice.
I've got a Travelmate 2414 laptop, came with 256Mb PC-4200.
Now, I thought that 4200 was 400Mhz, as in, 2x200. Now i'm being told it's acutally 533Mhz. Can someone clarify what Mhz it is?
Also, what Mhz does that make PC-5300 and PC-6400?
I'm looking to upgrade and getting confused as to what is supported. Acer say up to 400Mhz PC-6400, which I assume is 2x400=800Mhz net?
Can you even get PC-6400 SODIMMs??
Also, is it pretty safe to assume that the laptop will be able to run dual channel? The Crucial memory scanner says it can, but if I select the model manually it says it can't. And Acer have been no help answering that one!
