What speed Ram for AM3+?

1866MHz stuff is apparently the norm for the BD platform.
So something like:

I doubt you'll notice a huge difference unless overclocking. Same goes for 1333Mhz as well.

That saving could get you a better graphics card\hard drive\etc.
Not really no. You can't really tell the difference on anything above 1600MHz.

The Vengeance is a waste of money. It is no faster than any other RAM, and it is very tall and so gets in the way of lots of coolers.

Ah, I missed that. You'd be able to go 8GB for cheaper still if you bought standard Crucial\Kingston modules.
Why would I notice the difference when overclocking?
Because when overclocking using the baseclock or FSB, if you have higher RAM speeds, you can overclock further without interfering with the RAM. However, seeing as Bulldozer will have an unlocked multiplier, you do not have to worry about this.
