What speed RAM for OC E6320

Hi,

I have the CPU running 1.86 OC to 2.4

multiplier x7
Bus Speed 340Mhz
Rated FSB 1360

SPD shows PC2-5300 (333)
running at 340 Mhz at 1:1

Computer stable at the moment with max temp of 50C

Do I need faster ram to increase the FSB even more?

You'll likely get a little more out of the PC5300. How much depends on luck and the latencies of it.

But you'll definately need good PC6400 (or PC5300 Crucial Ballistix) to get to 3ghz.

Assuming it's rated at 1.8v, you can try upto 2.0v

It looks like Micron OEM style modules so they should easily take 2.0v to 2.2v. Also, I hear that those CPUs are beastly and hitting well over 400FSB on stock cooling and low volts. You may eventually need some VERY OCable PC6400 or some PC8500 or so, depending on how hard you push that CPU.
