So 3 years ago I built my current PC, I spent years researching and waiting for that point where I had finally built it (so I was very knowledgable about what parts where the best in 2010/11)
Now I'm finally looking to build a fresh pc for the purposes of Music Production and Gaming.
I run Pro Tools 11 as my primary DAW.
My current PC has a 1st Gen i7 950 and 6gb of triple channel ram.
Now when I was building it I didn't pay much attention to ram as there was only really 1 tab on ocuk to get triple channel ram for.
I am looking to have a system with an intel 4820K inside and thats quad channel memory.
Any recommendations of ram I should get to go with the processor.
I'm probably going to have 16GB installed as I won't be running anything monsterous on this computer (at my uni we have death star spec pc's for everything graphics related)
But I've been out of the game for 3 years and have no idea what is / isn't good anymore!
