Hey guys.

My system is as followed..

AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE 3.2ghz.
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
8GB OCZ Gold DDR3 1333mhz
Crucial M4 64GB SSD
ATI Sapphire HD6870

For cooling im using the Antec H620 CPU Watercooler.

Currently Its running at 3.917mhz with a multiplier of x19.5 And a Vcore of 1.49. That all iv touched so far.

My temps at the minute with Prime95 running are 44c, Prime has only been running for 15 minutes but planning on leaving it running for 1 hour before another tweek.

Im new to the overclocking game, i did have a dabble few years back but stopped due to no proper cooling. Im currently reading all the guides to get more familier with the process, but any tips to help me on the way would be massive greatful. Like for instance should i be just incressing the Multiplier or should i actually be increasing the FSB too. Its currently set to Auto in bios.

Anywho anyone with my board and or processor let me know what you clock speeds are and setups so iv got a benchmark of what to achieve.

Thankyou

max voltage for air cooling should be 1.55v, don't go over it without decent custom water cooling

44c under prime gives you a nice window for some more tweakery,

i'd say you'll prolly get around 4.2Ghz from that dual, maybe 4.3Ghz ideally you want temps to level out between 55c and 60c, more than 62c and you run the risk of frying the chip

your best bet is just get in the bios, tweak, then benchmark/prime to test for stability, as leeroy stated, every chip and board will give different results :)

Thankyou very much for the info.

Ill keep you all posted :D

Oh iv just discovered i can unlock my cpu from a x2 to a x4. :D Gonna have a play with that, see what happens..
