What Speeds Could I expect on this CPU?

My friend plans to purchase one of these:

Along with a AFP7.

What sort of speeds could he expecto reach on a stable overclock?

I had the socket 939 version and couldnt get past 2.7ghz

around 2.6/2.8, you'll be limited by HT speeds more than anything, if the mobo can raise the ht voltage you may get higher

It won't be anything close to 3.0Ghz

I had an opteron 170 which was similar, managed 3Ghz out of it.
Opt's were known for overclocking though so i'd say 2.8 max
