What spider is this?

This almost landed on my head yesterday. It's currently living somewhere in my garage. I live in Tennessee where so there's a whole host of nasty critters it could be. Black Widows and Brown Recluse spiders are pretty common although it's neither one of those.

I'm also pretty sure it isn't a queen wasp and I'm trying to find out if it has a letterbox.

Any ideas?

Nuke from orbit...........it's the only way to be sure.

Could be a Brown Widow, or maybe a Black Recluse. Either way I'd burn it (& your house down) just to be on the safe side.
