Hi Fella's,

I'm after a decent-ish looking, small as possible footprint case that will take a SSI-EEB motherboard for as cheap as possible haha.

Its to house an Asus Z9PE-W8 with a pair of large air coolers.

Any suggestions? :)

With large air coolers I don't think you are going to have much of a choice, as the "small" ones seem to be like HTPC's with little depth to them.....

What about these....

SilverStone TJ10
Cooler Master HAF XM
Lian Li PC-V750WX
NZXT Phantom??
NZXT SWITCH 810??
NZXT Tempest EVO
AZZA Helios 910
LIAN LI PC-9F

Some of those are "small"ish compared to others.

best case for eeb board.

Hi,

I had the same issue as I bought an eeb motherboard (twin xeon, twin h80 coolers and multiple disks in raid 5.

I started with the assumption that eeb was the same size as e-atx - it is not! The length and width may be the same but the eeb has the outputs on the short side.

I tried the eeb card in an eatx case and it did not fit.

I then used a cosmos II which, although massive, was poorly laid out for an eeb board.

finally i have my eeb board fitted nicely in a phanteks ph-es614p enthoo pro. it is snug, but fits better than it did in the cosmos, even with the dual radiators.

so, unless you have > 6 hdds or large radiators, I would recommend the phanteks.

n.b. the enthoo was missing one of the eeb standoffs, but it is not in a critical area (imho).
