What Steering wheel?

As the title says with my eyefinity setup nearly complete i wanna get into some NFS and other such games.

But whats the best steering wheel/pedals ect out there i have seen the Logitech G27 but as this is a new arena for me i wanted some options, advice and opinions.

How much you going to use it?


for a entry level hell there is a guy in iracing that still uses a driving force Pro GT

I would go for a driving force Pro GT if you are trying to learn the ropes firsts its a cracking wheel and those who say the pedals suck, not if they are all in black the brake pedal has some tension


you could go for a second hand G25 or even a fanatec 911 turbo wheel


If you want the best than G27 fanatec seem a bit shacky for support
 
Most of our clan use the Logitech Formula Force EX. A few have tried the G25 but struggle a lot with it, not tried the G27 but its mega bucks right now so expect it to come down soon.
Most expensive is not always best, I know we are on the OCUK site but take a look at the Logitech page for a vast choice at various prices.

Probably changed now, but there was a site selling the g27 for under 200 quid yesterday. ;)
 
I can vouch for the Driving Force Pro GT. I have tried some of the cheaper wheels but this one is great compared to them. I have not tried the G25 or G27 but they are really expensive compared to the Driving Force Pro.
 
I would suggest getting G25 as i have one and it's brilliant thing, i love playing DIRT2. I see no reason why pay extra for G27. You do get RPM indicator but you don't have time to look at the wheel while driving a car :D
 
You could look at the Fanatec wheel, setup for xbox 360, PS3, and PC with H- gate and sequential sticks provided... look on U Tube for more info ....
the logitechs are good!!
