The language (Java) isn't that bad it's the theory behind it that sucks the most, such as polymorphism and dynamic binding :confused:

Javascript programing on a spanish keyboard in a campsite internet cafe.....I still have nightmares

programming with an on screen keyboard, with only a mouse. And to switch between caps/lower/special characters you have to click a button.

Or programming using voice to text.

you guys who say you hate Java, try doing win32 API programming in C++ STRCTP anyone... bleh

(for the record bar the fact Java is stupidly slow its actually a very well formed language)

It's an incredibly easy and fluid language :s

Why do you dislike it? It's like C but easier to use and stuff liek Haskell is a joke in comparison.

oh, or try Novell iManager dev, its basically j2ee (which in itself isn't too bad) with a load of weird, undocumented extentions, a very very strick plug in architecture that again isn't really documented properly and seems to vary based on the number of e's in the plugin's title, its total total hell! never never again!

I wouldn't have said they were similar, or that Java is easier to use for that matter :confused:
