What system to get??

Hi there, I currently have an XPS 2 laptop which now needs changing but this time for a desktop! I have been looking at Dell XPS desk tops which look nice, I want to spend about £1400 with a descent 22” or 24” monitor which Dell offer. But I came across the Overclockers web site the other day and liked the look of this system "Ultima OC 8800GTX" Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz @ X6950+ 3.30GHz+ Quad Core SILENT DDR2 System £1,110 and I would probably get a Samsung screen. Never used Overclockers before so not sure if they are a good company to buy from or weather the system from Dell will be a better purchase. I would be grateful if I could have some recommendations on what system and screen to go for from people who know what there talking about!

I've just priced it up and if you are confident to build it yourself you can get the same spec for just over £1000, but you could improve on that system with your budget IMO
 
Thanks for your reply, it’s a pre built system form overclockers, just want to know if it was a decent system and if overclockers are a good company to buy from also how reliable are the machines due to being overclocked etc! Because with Dell you may pay a little more but you get good technical and warranty backup.
 
OCUK are a good company, they've always looked after me, although I wouldnt expect there to be any issues with one of their pre built system as they'll test it all before they ship it. Warranty will be good, I doubt you'll get any tech support though.
