Let me see,

Vista will be out officialy
DX10 games will be springing out from nowhere
and hardware will be booming..

My question is this, im coming into some money in march-april next year £10,000.
the TFT i have my eyes on is this one : Dell Ultrasharp 3007WFP 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey or this one : BenQ FP241W 24" Widescreen HDMI/HDCP LCD HD Monitor - Black

Im looking to be DX10 certified aswell as vista ultimate installed.

i want the best components for overclockability
and the best image and gameing quality aswell as performance in dx10 games. im also intrested in going SLI or Crossfire. possibly G80GTX refresh SLI

also want to be be able to play games with no lag what so ever
so if anyone has any idea could they spec me out a system for march april next year, doesnt have to be deadon with the release dates of anynew hardware i just want the fastest. at default and then if i need extra power i will be overclocking...

also the DDR i need to have has to be 4gig and in quadchannel or dualchannel
if you cant get dualchannel in 4 sticks then the fastest 2gig dualchannel should do...

also guys be realistic with price, best overclocking hardware prices would be sweeter than paying higher up in price for something that lower in price i could get the same performance out of when overclocked.

i know its a big favour to ask but i just need an idea.
also about the TFT im buying if you know of a better TFT thats coming out around march-april then add it aswell :) if you think its better than those 2 picked, only reason i picked the dell was becuse of size and the only reason i picked the 24" was becuse of the HDMI and features 1080p ect if there is a tft coming out with the dell size and 24" feature set then thats even better.

cheers.... guys now show me what ya think i should buy... if you had the money ect !

So far currently thats already out there i have this basket
bit pricy but thats what you expect when your going for Quad everything lol

any help is apreshiated, as i have no idea whats coming out apart from AMDs new Quadcore or ATIs RD600 boards or R600 Cards...

you only went for 2gigs of RAM!!!

<hides>

unless I'm mistaken you won't get 3x 8800s on that motherboard - it might have QUAD x16 slots but I doubt theres enough physical space.

3 8800GTX  Don't even think any PSU can power that, partly because of Watts but also that's 6 PCI-E power cables required!! The PSU in your basket is only Quad :(

TBH, I wouldn't spend more than £1500 on a PC (base). Its just a bad/poor investment considering how much prices fall/etc :(

IMO, March-April things should be totally different, i.e. its 3-4 months away, 3-4 months ago we got C2D :D

So what do you guys suggest ?

do me up a basket please with 4gig in dualchannel with psu and tft
and 2 graphics card and motherboard... and cpu and cooling and hdds

i want to build a system that wont lag with dx10 at all.

-----------------------
I already got the sound card
I also already got a PSU but unsure if it will power 2graphics cards like g80s
its a 700W Quadrail GameXtreme OCZ psu.

Just want to make sure that speed is key components in this build
also im not sure you can dualchannel 4gig of ddr lol

Unless i used 2 2gig sticks :o...

Get the Asus Striker Extreme motherboard, it has 3 Pcix x16 slots. enough for 3 8800gtx

I wouldn't bother thinking about it until nearer the time - there'll be new dx10 cards out, maybe better CPU's, better mobo's..I would also save most of the money (unless 10K is nothing to you) and get a system for about £1000 max personally. Its better to get a stuff just bellow the top of the line stuff because the bang/buck get pretty crappy near the top..E6700/E6800 are decent examples of that. You get like 10% increase in performance for about 7 times the cost (assuming you overclock). Something like that anyway..its just not worth it imo
