Hi,
I'm not sure what size my case is. Its an Advent 3119 desktop PC about 6-7 years old. I wanted to know if it would take atx or micro-atx motherboard as I didnt want to get one that didnt fit!

Its a fairly small case, the current motherboard measures about 24cm x 24cm.

Well, the current motherboard is MATX. Being an OEM case, I don't see why they'd build in the extra space for an ATX motherboard, so I'd say that you're limited to MATX.

I think the case you have is called Jupiter although i can't find any info on the case itself. Best way to find the case maker is to look inside for a tag or to look at the power supply. a lot of companies like Mesh use external companies for cases and powersupplies and then label it as their own. Might be the same for you if you can find the tag on the psu or case itself.

Have fun with it then ^^.

I've worked with a few of these Advent PC's a lot in my previous job (Lol, guess where :D), they are just utterly nasty, and generally have poor cooling. If your gonna be getting nice new hardware, I'd get a nice new case to go with it all.
