What tastes like lemon Lemsip?

So I got ill recently and became quite inclined to lemon lemsip... Well, boots own brand version but I presume the real thing tastes quite similar. I ignorantly bought some lemon tea in hope that it would taste the same but it tastes nothing like it. Clearly I cannot keep drinking it as it has paracetamol in it.

So my question is, what tastes like lemon lemsip? I think its the sweetness I like...
 
take that lemon tea and mix in a drop of bitter lemon. to this sprinkle in some turmeric and ginger powder. drink. Nice and pretty good for you.
 
Not sure if it was their own brand but we bought some hot lemon drink from Morrison's a while back, you dissolve it in hot water like lemsip. Tasted good.
 
I tried putting honey in the lemon tea but it just tasted too much like tea still ....

Excellent I shall try some of these ideas!

What's the problem?
 
Prolonged paracetamol use can damage the liver. Quite rare to occur, but if there is nothing wrong with him, it's foolish to risk it for the sake of a tasty drink.
 
I had the same problem with the wild berry and hot orange Lemsip. I found that Belvoir spiced winter berries cordial was a pretty good substitute. So I would think a lemon cordial/squash should be a good replacement.
