What tech will you be buying in 2016? KitGuru Survey

Nothing on the first page interested me. New GPU and 4k or ultrawide monitor if the performance of the next gen GPU is up to it. probably a bigger SSD at some point. Can't see me upgrading CPU/mobo for some time yet.

Unfortuantely I'm having a child instead so no techie goods for me in 2016 :( :p

....I say unfortunately but i mean that purely from my love of expensive technical toys of course.

1TB NVMe drive would be nice and then I can demote my 250 evo to the laptop.

Possibly another 980 or a new-gen single card solution but I can't see my disposable income allowing

First two questions should have a "nothing" option added. Nothing for me this year as there is nothing worth upgrading to (TV/home entertainment included).

This year I plan to get a new phone (my xperia-T has ran it's course, its developed the odd bug too and I think its time to upgrade) other than that I've toyed with the idea of getting a dedicated desktop microphone with a high end pair of headphones.

I'm thinking a graphics card for certain, probably Polaris/Pascal.

Maybe a Gsync/Freesync monitor, price and features dependant.

Iphone 7.

And very possibly an SSD but this is bery dependant on what new tech we get on that front.

all done

this year I will be buying a gaming pc for my 11 year old he is not keen on the xbox anymore since seeing my new gaming pc and another 980ti for me

Probably upgrade current 3440 x 1440 to Acer X34 or the ROG model.

Will likely put my current build all under water, the Titan X's all next to each other are not playing nice, but love my case too much :(

What a disappointing and pointless survey... :(

Typical of a survey that only gives you options to try and drag a particular conclusion out of those that respond, ..... rather than a survey that tries to find out what people are really thinking / want.

Looking at smart technology in the home, myself.

Whilst most things I'm not overly sure at (such as controlling lighting from your home), being able to preheat the house for when I'm driving home and smart related food cooking equipment seems like the way forward.
