Hi,could some of the learned people out there tell me what temps I could expect if I overclock ivy 3570k to 4.2/4.4 would the processors be hot as this is my greatest concern about ivy and will factor into buying one or not, thanks

mainly depends on your cooler and the case you are using.... from what i;ve seen that would be pushing around the 70-80ish mark 4.2/4.4... my 3770 @4.5 was running IBT at 91 and gaming around 60ish before i replaced the internal thermal paste and dropped IBT to 70ish and gaming into the 40-50's. using H80 with 2x120 akasa viper fans.

you best source of information would be just to scroll through the pages and pages on the official ivybridge overclocking thread. pretty much just look for the posts with pictures. most people say the overclock, volts, temps and what cooler :)

also dependent on how lucky you get with voltages... less volts=less heat.

The case I have is an Inwin dragon rider with 5 fans and the cooler is a thermalright silver arrow should that not help.
