OK I have been stable at 2.7 for a while, over a year now.

And I want to push it more, as I cant afford to upgrade.

If I over clock more now it fails. Could this be due to the IHS not being fitted correctly.

I use speedfan, and the cores are a couple of c between them.

On Core Temp beta 0.94 there is 6 c between them all the time.

Also would the Titan Amanda only work with the IHS on.
 
If the Titan Amanda clips on then removing the IHS will render it unusable as there will be a height discrepancey. If it bolts on then you can still use it.
