Car designers are really struggling to come up with much new these days

The risk is too high for a manufacturer to launch a car with a radical new design.
Even the recent new BMW's received very bad press around the design at launch but now they are spot on, at least in my opinion.

There are also the numerous design regulations which have to be met which limit options further.

There are plenty of tutorials on car modellings for various applications, i'd imagine if you spent a few years of your spare time doing stuff like that, models as the above begin to come fairly easily

Mmm I'm seeing E60 both front and rear. Old Focus on the front too. Looks mean though
